Terms of Service
Effective date: 08 September 2024
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Stamplo (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
Stamplo is designed for parents and guardians to help their children (ages 5-13) connect with pen pals in a safe and supervised environment. As a parent, you must create an account and oversee your child’s interactions on the platform.
3. Parental Responsibility
Parents are fully responsible for managing their child’s account, including approving pen pals and reviewing letters. Stamplo ensures that all communication between children is first passed through both the sender's and recipient's parents for approval.
4. Creating an Account
When you register for an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and for all activities that occur under your account.
5. Usage Rules
By using Stamplo, you agree that:
- You will not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- You will not upload or share inappropriate or offensive content, including but not limited to explicit images or language.
- You will not harass, intimidate, or harm other users, and will behave respectfully towards others.
- You will not attempt to access accounts, systems, or data that you are not authorized to access.
6. Letter Review Process
All letters sent through Stamplo are first reviewed by both the sender’s and recipient’s parents. No letter will be delivered to a child without explicit approval from both parents. This helps maintain the safety and privacy of children using the platform.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you send via Stamplo, including letters, photos, and other communications. However, by using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, distribute, and process the content as necessary to provide the Service.
8. Data Privacy
We take your privacy seriously. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using Stamplo, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in any conduct that we believe is harmful to the Service or other users.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties or representations about the accuracy or completeness of the Service, and disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stamplo shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or inability to access the Service.
12. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in United Kingdom.
